FACTORISATION

-->
The resolution of an entity into factors such that when multiplied together they give the original entity is known as Factorisation.

To factorise an algebraic expression, take out the we need to take out the highest Common Factor and place it in front of the brackets. Then the expression inside the brackets is obtained by dividing each term by the highest common factor. The process of taking out a common factor is of great importance in algebra. Factoring Quadratics is very simple.

To factorise a quadratic trinomial find two numbers whose sum is equal to the coefficient of x, and whose product is equal to the independent term.

Factorization of Polynomials means expressing the given polynomial as a product of polynomials.

A quadratic expression is one where the highest power on the variable is 2. When these quadratic expressions are factorised, they are written as the product of two factors.
